Hey there, potential adopters! Let's talk about Pinky Pie! This sweet girl, formerly known as Cruella, is a 3-year-old Corgi-Dachshund mix who weighs about 25 pounds. She was rescued from a dire situation at a vet clinic and has blossomed into a well-behaved and loving companion. Pinky's past was clearly one of neglect, as she arrived with significant flea allergies and yeast infections, leaving her with patchy fur. Thankfully, her foster home has helped her heal and regain her luscious coat. She's a quiet and intelligent pup who has impressed everyone with her wonderful behavior.
Ideal Home
Pinky would thrive in a home where she can be showered with attention, especially from the male figures in her life. She absolutely adores men and lights up around them. While she's generally good with everyone, she does show a slight preference for men over women. An ideal home could be with a single man, a couple where the female partner understands Pinky's strong bond with men, or a loving gay couple. She's also done wonderfully with young children and other dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, in her foster home.
Ongoing Health
Pinky has received comprehensive veterinary care. She has been spayed, her vaccinations are up to date, and she is microchipped. She is also on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Any past skin issues are being managed and are well on their way to full recovery with proper care.
Training & Support
Pinky is already doing wonderfully with potty training, showing no accidents in her foster home or crate. She's also generally well-behaved. While she might offer a small growl towards her foster mom, it's nothing serious and she completely adores her foster dad and the male children in the home. Her new family will need to understand and embrace her preference for men to ensure she feels secure and loved.
