Angus

Angus is a sweet and playful guy who absolutely adores his people. He's the kind of dog who will happily come over for a warm hug and then immediately bounce off, ready for some fun! We rescued Angus from the South Salt Lake shelter in December, where he had already been waiting for about five months. When he arrived, he had a cherry eye that required medical attention. Thankfully, our wonderful community helped us cover the cost of his surgery, and after a few weeks of recovery in foster care, he's back to his energetic self.

In his foster home, Angus showed that he's not just an energetic pup – he also loves to relax on the couch and stay close to his humans. Angus has a zest for running and would be a perfect fit for a home with a yard or an active lifestyle. He's fast and loves to play, especially when he has another dog to zoom around with. One of his favorite pastimes is playing keep-away with toys while darting around the yard. He gets along well with other dogs and knows how to sit and shake. While he seems like he might be okay with cats, he can sometimes be a little too interested in them. Angus is a fun-loving, affectionate dog who is finally ready to find his forever home after spending so much time waiting.

Ideal Home

Angus would thrive in a home with a yard or an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do well with a canine companion. While he may be okay with cats, he can be a little too interested at times, so careful introductions would be necessary.

Ongoing Health

Angus had cherry eye surgery, which was successfully completed.

Angus knows how to sit and shake. He is playful and enjoys interactive games.
