This 15-year-old Chihuahua mix is pure magic! Banjo has lived a long life and has fully embraced his role as a wise elder, part ancient king, part retired wizard, and all gentleman. He arrived from another rescue with a mysterious past, but his presence in any room is unforgettable, as if he's always on a grand quest.

While his hearing and eyesight have softened with age, Banjo has developed a heightened sense of touch, cherishing the comfort of a warm blanket, a familiar lap, and a gentle hand. He enjoys a specialized diet, which we affectionately call "old man food" to support his health, but to Banjo, it's a royal feast!

This distinguished gentleman enjoys being carried like the royalty he is and may even impose a "snack tax" when he feels like it. He still enjoys quiet strolls, surveying his domain with a serious demeanor and marking his territory with purpose. While he's generally good with indoor potty habits, he'll need supervision as he adjusts to a new home. Banjo seems to understand more than he lets on, especially when it comes to treats and the tell-tale sound of a cheese wrapper. He's not looking for adventure anymore, having already conquered his epic quests. He's content with his reign of comfort, sunbeams, and soft places to rest his head.
