Truman

Truman is an 11-pound, 1 1/2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix who is searching for a safe and loving forever home. This sweet boy was found abandoned and scared on the streets of Baltimore City, having experienced a difficult past. While he is making great progress in his foster home, Truman is still a bit fearful and will thrive with an adopter who has previous dog experience and a great deal of patience. He finds comfort in the company of other dogs and would love to have a canine sibling in his new home.

Ideal Home

Truman needs a home with a physically fenced yard and a resident dog to provide him with companionship and a sense of security. His past experiences have made him fearful, so a patient adopter with prior dog experience is essential for him to feel comfortable and flourish.

Truman is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Truman is house-trained. Due to his past, he is still working on overcoming his fears and will need continued patience and understanding. His foster home has seen great improvement, but a dedicated adopter will help him continue to build his confidence.
