Rosie

Meet Rosie, the loyal little supervisor you never knew you needed. She's smart, steady, and happiest when she's right by your side, making sure you're doing everything correctly. She's the definition of a "helper Heeler," always ready to be part of whatever you're doing. Rosie's story started when she was found as a stray puppy and taken in by a kind young mom. Sadly, when her owner became seriously ill and had to move out of state for medical treatment, Rosie couldn't go with her. She's now thriving in a loving southern foster home and is ready to find the forever family she deserves.

Ideal Home

Rosie would love a family that can give her structure, exercise, and plenty of adventures. She can be a little opinionated when meeting new dogs and should have slow introductions. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Rosie is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative on recent testing, and microchipped. She is spayed.

Training & Support

Rosie has completed basic obedience training and is housetrained using a doggie door. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night and is learning that her crate is a magical place where treats appear. She should be fed separately since she's protective of her meals around other dogs, but she's perfectly happy for people to be near her food.
