Jafar

Jafar is a lovable, medium-energy, 1-year-old Labrador retriever mix who weighs about 36lbs. He has an incredibly soft coat and a gentle heart, and he's fantastic with dogs of all sizes, displaying a respectful and friendly play style. While he can be a little reserved around new people due to a lack of early socialization, he warms up with patience and calm introductions, revealing a cuddly and affectionate personality. Because he can get a bit mouthy when excited, he'd do best in a home with older children. Jafar is a pro on walks, staying close without pulling, and is both potty and crate trained. He enjoys playing with toys and has learned to sit on command.

Jafar would thrive in a moderately active home with another friendly, confident dog to help boost his confidence and encourage bravery in new situations. He would be best suited for a home with older children.

Jafar is located in Houston, Texas. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
