Julieta

Julieta is a lovely 7-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs about 55 lbs. She's a big girl who absolutely adores hugs and affection and is looking for a warm, supportive family to give her the love she deserves. Julieta and her brother Romeo were rescued when they were 6 months old and were thankfully able to receive the care and rehabilitation they needed. Julieta is very sociable and enjoys playing with other dogs. She's an intelligent girl who has learned to be a good guardian and walks well on a leash, enjoying long sniffy walks. She's a good listener and follows commands well, but also loves to run, jump, and have fun outdoors. A bonus is that she loves car rides, making her a perfect companion for adventures!

Ideal Home

A family with a real intention to rescue a dog, understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued street animals, and with experience in dog behavior and training. High tolerance and patience are a must for rescued pups.

Ongoing Health

Julieta is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on her DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. She has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She also comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Julieta is not house-trained and may need an adjustment period to a new home. Patience and understanding are essential when integrating a rescued dog.

Transporation

Julieta is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for a fee of $400.00, which is paid by the adopter prior to departure.
