Peanut may be tiny, but don't let his size fool you – this little Chihuahua/wire-haired terrier mix has a BIG personality! At around five months old, Peanut is a playful, goofy, tail-wagging machine who is fully committed to living life as one big adventure. He loves to bounce around, play tug, and zoom in happy little circles like he just discovered joy for the first time, every single time. His playful energy is contagious, and it's nearly impossible not to smile when he's around. He's also wonderfully social and loves being part of the action, always curious, silly, and full of that classic puppy mischief that keeps life interesting.

Ongoing Health
Peanut is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been heartworm tested.
Training & Support
As Peanut is still a baby, he will need a family ready to commit to all the important puppy basics: potty training, structure, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement. He is a puppy and will need guidance to learn and grow.

Peanut is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
