About Lucy Lou the Freckled Lovebottom Cutie
There's just something special about Lucy Lou! Perhaps it's the adorable freckles dusting her nose, or the way she looks at you with those big, soulful eyes. Or maybe it's simply because she gives some of the sweetest cuddles around! This little lady loves to snuggle up close, resting her head on your shoulder for what feels like the world's longest hug. It's impossible not to be completely smitten.
Lucy Lou is an approximately 5-month-old, 25-pound American Bully mix. She's a compact pup with big-dog charm packed into one sweet package. While she'll do some more growing, we don't anticipate her getting significantly larger. She's currently the perfect size for cozy couch cuddles!
Lucy has an old soul for such a young pup. She's incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate. While other puppies her age might be full of mischief, Lucy is more likely to be found napping in the coziest spot. Her foster mom says she sleeps a lot, and it's true! If you work from home, Lucy will likely be curled up nearby, dreaming of snacks and her future family. When she is awake, she's happy to entertain herself with toys and doesn't require constant attention. Her easygoing nature makes her a delightful companion, fitting seamlessly into your day rather than demanding all of it.
Lucy is currently living with two small, senior dogs and absolutely adores them, often found snuggled up together. She has also met larger dogs and has done well. She can be a bit shy with bigger dogs initially but warms up quickly and is happy to coexist. She's also been wonderful with cats, showing genuine excitement to meet new feline friends!
Lucy already has impressive house manners for a puppy. She's doing great with potty training, usually needing a break every three hours. She sleeps through the night without a peep and has shown no destructive behavior.
Ideal Home
Lucy is quite flexible and could thrive in a home with a backyard or an apartment. As long as she has loving people, toys, a comfy napping spot, and plenty of cuddles, she'll be a happy girl. We haven't seen her with children yet, but given her gentle and affectionate nature, we believe she could be a wonderful family dog. We are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet if you have children.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Lucy is doing well with potty training and sleeps through the night. She enjoys entertaining herself with toys and doesn't require constant attention.
