Maggie

Meet Maggie! This sweet and gentle girl came to us with three of her canine friends after they were seized from a neglect situation. She arrived with a severe flea infestation, hair loss, overgrown nails, and poor nutrition. While she has made incredible progress, Maggie is still carrying a significant amount of excess weight and has an unhealthy obese weight that will need to be addressed. Despite her past challenges, Maggie remains a loving and shy companion who prefers cozy relaxation over high-energy activities.

Maggie would thrive in a home that is committed to supporting her weight-loss journey through a balanced diet and regular exercise. She deserves a family that will provide her with the dedicated care and encouragement needed for her to live her healthiest and happiest life.

Ongoing Health

Maggie is spayed, 4DX negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. She is currently working on a weight-loss plan to improve her overall health.

Training & Support

Maggie is not a very active dog and enjoys her downtime. Her new family will need to be patient and consistent in helping her manage her weight through proper nutrition and exercise.

Transportation

Maggie is currently located in Texas. Transportation is available to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, she cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.
