Meet Banano! He's a charming 10kg Chihuahua/Terrier mix, born in May 2022, with a heart as big as his spirit. Banano's journey began when he was rescued after bravely darting through traffic near CUC University in Ixtapa. Despite this scary experience, he's blossomed into the sweetest, most grateful little soul, overflowing with love to give.

Ideal Home

Banano is looking for a loving family who will cherish him and keep him safe. He's a small to medium pup with a gentle personality, ready to be your devoted companion.

Ongoing Health

Banano came into care with low platelets and is currently being treated for Ehrlichia and anemia. He's already feeling so much better and is neutered and vetted, ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Banano is a well-behaved pup ready to settle into his new life. Guidance on continuing his positive journey will be provided.

Transportation

Banano is located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You'll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, Banano may fly into the US and can be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many border adoptions with volunteers.
