Hazel

Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a big smile, a white and tan coat, and a lot of love to give! I’m house and crate trained and enjoy exciting walks, though my strength means I can pull hard. I’m looking for an owner who can guide me with some manners.

I get along well with mellow dogs, and I’m happy to be cat-tested if you have feline friends. My energy is best suited for a home with older children (10+) due to my size, but I also appreciate quiet time and naps in my safe, spacious kennel. I prefer to be indoors with my people and can feel anxious when left alone for too long or too far from home.

Ideal Home

A home with an owner experienced with large, strong dogs who can provide consistent guidance and training. Because of my size and energy, children in the home should be 10 years or older. I prefer to be inside with my family and don't enjoy extended time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

I have some digestive sensitivities and require a special diet of lamb and rice. I also need to be supervised or crated when unsupervised to prevent chewing. I am spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I need a patient owner to help me learn leash manners due to my strength. I also need to be crated when unsupervised to address chewing behaviors.
