Meet Blaze! This handsome 72-pound Alaskan Malamute is around two years old and is brimming with love despite his difficult past. Found wandering the streets of Harris County, TX, Blaze was abandoned and left to fend for himself. It’s clear he once knew a loving home, but sadly, he was discarded. Despite his experiences, Blaze’s spirit remains unbroken; he still trusts people and desperately hopes for a second chance to be part of a forever family. He’s ready to shower his new humans with unconditional love and loyalty.

Blaze is looking for a committed family who will cherish him and never give up on him again.

Ongoing Health

Blaze is up to date on all vaccines and has been neutered. He did test positive for heartworm, but he has successfully begun slow-kill treatment and is on the road to recovery.
