Eli is a soft-hearted, snuggly puppy with the sweetest personality and the kind of presence that just makes you feel at home. This bully/collie mix has the cutest little ears and an even bigger heart to match. Whether he's starting your day with affection or winding down curled up in your lap, Eli is all about connection, comfort, and love. Eli comes from an accidental litter and was taken in by us to help ensure he and his siblings found wonderful homes. He's now thriving in foster care, getting the structure, socialization, and consistency every puppy deserves. Eli is truly a "heart dog" in the making. He is incredibly people-oriented and seeks out affection, often being the first one to come say good morning and the last one to settle in for snuggles at night. He's the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and just wants to be near his person.
Ideal Home
Eli would do best in a home with another playful, active dog who can help guide him and continue building his confidence and social skills. He is also making progress with cats and will do best in a home with dog-savvy cats and continued supervision and guidance. Please be aware that Eli is a puppy and requires a significant time commitment for training and socialization. He will need consistent positive reinforcement and patience as he learns house manners, and adopters should be prepared for typical puppy behaviors like chewing and accidents.
Ongoing Health
Eli is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. He appears to be a healthy, growing puppy. As per our policy, Eli has not yet been sterilized, but this is a requirement of the adoption contract to be completed by 6 months of age.
Training & Support
Eli is doing excellent with crate training and potty training for his age and is learning that bath time isn't so bad! He is a smart little guy who is already starting to understand routines and expectations. He is eager to learn and would benefit from attending training classes with his new family to help him build confidence and learn essential skills. Owners should be prepared for a learning curve with a young puppy, as he is still learning about being a civilized member of a human family and may have accidents or chew on items.
