Hexum is a spirited seven-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a stunning brown brindle coat and a charming white chest patch. He's a hefty 74 pounds of pure joy, affection, and a personality that will keep you entertained! Hexum loves to dash around the park, play tug with a rope, and chew on a good bone. He's a smart cookie too, with formal obedience training, and knows commands like "sit," "wait," "leave it," "night night," and "go to your house." His lively energy and playful nature make him a delight to be around, especially for someone ready to match his active lifestyle.

Ideal Home

Hexum is looking for a calm and structured home where he can be the star of the show. This means he needs to be the only pet in the household, and he'd prefer a home without children to ensure his routine isn't interrupted.

Ongoing Health

Hexum is currently managing some resource-guarding behaviors. He experiences separation anxiety, which is being managed with medication. He is also not a fan of car rides.

Training & Support

Hexum has had one incident where he nipped during collar handling due to his resource-guarding behaviors. This highlights the need for a confident, experienced caregiver who understands his boundaries and is committed to positive reinforcement training.
