Eevee and Ellie

Eevee and Ellie are two devoted senior girls who share a deep bond and are looking for a loving home to spend their golden years together. Eevee is a 13-year-old Pomeranian/Papillon mix, and Ellie is a 16-year-old German Shepherd mix. They are a package deal, and their hearts beat in perfect harmony.

Ideal Home

These sweethearts would thrive in a caring environment that offers patience, structure, and togetherness. They are compatible with gentle children and enjoy peaceful surroundings without raised voices. Eevee is a bit protective of Ellie and may bark at large, energetic dogs that rush in too quickly, so a home that understands and can manage this would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Eevee has a collapsed trachea and sensitive skin that requires mindful care, including dental chews and monitoring for possible extractions. Ellie's eyes are growing cloudy with age, and she may have some hearing decline. A benign lump is monitored by her veterinarian. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Eevee is a confident and friendly girl who knows several commands and happily comes when called. She thrives with gentle reassurance and positive reinforcement. Ellie is softer in spirit and takes a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes deeply affectionate. Ensuring Ellie feels safe and secure is key to helping her open up.
