Jessica

Hello World! I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jessi. (Or Jessakins, Jessipaws, Jessibessi) I'm a 4.5-month-old hound and terrier mix. We're not entirely sure how big I'll get, but probably around 40lbs. I absolutely love the outdoors and am doing very well on the leash. Every parked car I pass is a potential opportunity for an adventure, and I must investigate it immediately! I do very well in a car and am usually asleep within a couple of minutes. I'm very brave, curious, and love new places and smells. I'm a little bit of a mountain goat and like to climb up hills and stand on walls. I'm cautious with new people and need a little patience to warm up, but once I do, you will be rewarded with kisses and hugs. I'm definitely a dog-friendly gal, but I'll pass on any kitty cats. I absolutely love my crate and do very well overnight. I'm not quite house-trained but getting better every day. Like every puppy, I like to chew on anything and everything, but I am easily distracted with toys. I like to play, run, and jump. I don't mind water and enjoy helping water the plants. My foster mom says I'm a snugglebug with the sweetest smile and softest little dotty ears.

Ideal Home

I'd love a home that can provide lots of outdoor adventures. I am not a fan of cats, so a feline-free household is a must.

Ongoing Health

I am vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am not quite house-trained but am improving daily. Like many puppies, I enjoy chewing, but I can be distracted with toys. I need a little patience to warm up to new people.
