Jazzy is a 1-year-old bundle of puppy joy wrapped in a snuggly, goofy, zoomie-powered body. She is playful, energetic, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining — truly still a rambunctious puppy who lives life at full speed. With small dogs, Jazzy is happy, social, and playful. She loves to wrestle, chase, and burn off her puppy energy, then crash hard for cuddle time. She’s incredibly loving and will happily divebomb into your lap out of pure excitement (fair warning: she doesn’t quite know her size yet!). Jazzy is okay with kids, but because she’s still learning her manners and can be exuberant, we recommend a home with children 14+. She’s also timid around most men, but she can build trust with gentle, patient people who offer calm energy and kindness — she’s already made friends with a couple of soft-spoken, loving guys who gave her the time she needed.
Ideal Home
Jazzy is an elite-level fence jumper and has a history of escape. She will need to be taken to the yard on leash for several weeks while learning to trust and get used to her new home. She cannot be trusted loose for several weeks. Even after that, she will require you to stay in the yard with her. The second she does not see you or you turn your back and walk away, she will jump the fence. For her safety, we are seeking a condo or apartment-style home where outdoor access is fully controlled. Screens and sliders must always be secured. Jazzy is still gaining confidence on walks and would do best in a quieter neighborhood rather than a busy downtown environment. She needs someone who understands rescue dogs, believes in going slow, and is willing to help her blossom at her own pace.
