About Watson

If your world could use a gentle, 57-pound shadow who loves to be in the know, then let me introduce myself! I'm Watson, a handsome 2-year-old Boxer/Pitbull mix who's navigated a bit of a bumpy road, but now I'm steering straight for a forever home. My journey started tied to a tree, but that's just a footnote in my story now; I've spent time at the sanctuary, learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, and I'm ready to pour all my resilient spirit into finding my person. I'm a truly gentle soul looking for a family who understands that I'm still learning the world is safe, especially when faced with novel situations. With slow introductions and positive reinforcement, I quickly blossom into a confident and loyal companion. I thrive on being close to my people and would love a home where I can be an integral part of daily life, showering you with affection and quiet companionship.

Ideal Home

Watson is a true Velcro dog who loves to snuggle and be by your side. He is curious about new people and places but can be timid at first. He adores other dogs and would love a canine sibling. Watson is adaptable to different routines and is fully potty trained. He may pull a little on the leash when excited but is eager to learn.

Ongoing Health

Watson is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Crate training is still a work in progress for Watson, but he responds well to high-value treats for settling in. He is comfortable in a larger enclosed space with his crate as a cozy option. He needs slow introductions and positive reinforcement to build confidence in new situations.
