Milady

Milady is a sweet and shy girl with a whole lot of love to give! She's a 1-year-old Lab mix, weighing around 34 lbs, and she's still growing! Milady comes to us from a shelter in Puerto Rico and is looking for a fresh start and a loving forever home in the DC area. She's a tripawd, missing her right rear leg, but she gets around wonderfully and doesn't let it slow her down one bit!

Ideal Home

Milady is looking for a patient and loving home that will help her build confidence. She needs a welcoming resident dog who will help her with socialization. We haven't seen her with cats or children, but we're happy to discuss integration techniques.

Ongoing Health

Milady is a tripod and is missing her right rear leg. She navigates and plays on her three remaining legs with no issue.

Training & Support

Milady is shy and will need extra help with socialization. Dogs from Puerto Rico often experience a major transition and require committed humans to help them adjust. She is working on crate training, but we cannot guarantee she is housebroken.
