Remy

Remy is a 5-year-old, 54 lb male American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is gentle, submissive, and a true lover, not a fighter. He comes from a difficult past where he endured neglect and was forced to fight for food. Despite this, Remy has a sensitive soul and is seeking an owner who will appreciate him for the loving companion he is. He bonds deeply with his people and thrives on love and consistency.

Ideal Home

Remy would do best in a home that understands his sensitive nature. He can be overwhelmed by a large number of dogs, so dog parks may not be suitable. While he can be fearful of bigger dogs initially, he will warm up with slow, easy introductions. He gets along with smaller dogs and older, respectful children.

Ongoing Health

Remy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has begun his heartworm treatment, which has been paid for.

Training & Support

Remy is crate-trained but may need some reinforcement with house training. He needs an owner who can provide the consistency and understanding he deserves.
