Star

Star is a 3-year-old, 42-pound mixed-breed sweetheart who's ready to find a patient, loving home to call her own. Currently thriving in a foster home, Star is both potty trained and house trained and has proven herself to be a respectful houseguest who doesn't need a kennel. At night, she's happiest curled up next to her person on the couch or sharing the bed for some cozy companionship.

Star can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but with a bit of time and gentle introductions, her true personality shines through. Once she feels safe, she becomes a loyal, affectionate best friend who will stick by your side. She's a smart girl, too! Star already knows commands like sit, stay, shake, and down. She enjoys her daily walks, absolutely loves car rides, and has a playful side that comes out with her favorite squeaky toys. Star has done wonderfully during vet visits and is comfortable with nail trims when handled by people she trusts.

Ideal Home

Star may do best as the only pet or with slow, thoughtful introductions to a potential canine companion. A child-free home and a cat-free home would be ideal for Star.

Star is already potty trained and house trained. She knows commands such as sit, stay, shake, and down.
