About Holden aka Harlan

Holden, a young, large, male Pit Bull Terrier mix, came to us as a stray in January 2026. He joined a foster home in March and absolutely thrived! Holden quickly bonded with his foster family and got along wonderfully with their two resident dogs. He's a loving and playful boy who sometimes hops interior gates, but only because he wants to be close to his people!

Ideal Home

Holden would love a home where he can be part of the family. He has done great with other dogs and is generally eager to please.

Ongoing Health

Holden is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm.

Training & Support

Holden is completing our training program and is house-trained. He's a smart pup who just wants to be with his people!

Holden is currently located at Spencer Pet Rescue in O Fallon, IL. We can discuss transport options to approved adopters.
