Windsor is a joyful, goofy sweetheart wrapped in a big, wiggly body. He's the definition of a gentle giant with zoomies – full of enthusiasm, full of love, and full of personality. If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, Windsor is your guy. He adores people, wants to be close, and gives the kindest full-body hugs that melt your heart. He's eager to please and sensitive; raised voices or feeling like he's in trouble make him crouch down, but with gentle reassurance, he bounces right back. Windsor is active and loves walks, playtime, and exploring. He's happiest when he has something to do and someone to do it with. He loves jumping up to give hugs, being close to his people, playing, running, and exploring, and making friends with other dogs.
Ideal Home
Windsor would thrive in a home that can provide multiple walks, structured activity, and mental stimulation. He would love a canine companion, as he is fantastic with all dogs. Due to his tendency to chase, he is safest in a cat-free home unless the adopter is very experienced. His jumping may be too much for little ones, so a home without young children is best. He is shy with strangers at first but warms up quickly to gentle pets and becomes affectionate fast.

Training & Support
Windsor is crate-trained and knows how to muzzle train. He needs work on leash skills as he jumps and pulls with excitement. Car rides can be hit or miss for him, sometimes good, sometimes unsure. He has puppy nips and jumps when excited, but this is purely enthusiasm and love, with zero aggression. Housetraining is currently unknown as he has been in boarding. A calm, patient home will help him shine, as he is sensitive to yelling or loud voices and worries if he thinks he has disappointed someone.
