Meet Dill Pickle! He's a handsome German Shepherd approaching his 6th birthday, and he's still got plenty of bounce in his step. Dill Pickle is a ball-chasing enthusiast who also loves a good couch cuddle. He's always up for a game of fetch, a long walk, or a jog, and his curiosity means he wants to investigate, chase, or play with anything that moves!
While he can enjoy the company of other dogs, Dill Pickle truly shines when he's the center of attention. He craves companionship and would be happiest by your side, whether you're embarking on an adventure or settling in for a quiet evening. He's a big-hearted boy who is very treat-motivated, making him eager to learn. Just be aware that he might not always realize how big his head is – personal space is not really his thing when there's an opportunity for more cuddles! After a good romp, Dill Pickle is perfectly content to relax with his favorite people. He can settle himself, but his biggest wish is for a family to share his days with.

Ongoing Health
Dill Pickle is up-to-date on vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, and he's been spayed/neutered. He's also been tested and is on prevention for heartworms, and has received flea prevention.
Training & Support
Dill Pickle is treat-motivated and eager to learn. He may need some gentle guidance as he adjusts to his new home, but he's well on his way to being the best dog he can be with continued training efforts and understanding.

Transportation
Dill Pickle is currently available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, & OH, LA. He can also be transported to AZ soon. Pick-up locations and times are predetermined. Transportation fees range from $100-$500, with private custom transport routes available upon request. Texas adopters have a flat rate fee of $250 for in-state transport. Our transport buses and vans are equipped with air conditioning and onboard attendants for a comfortable journey. You can follow along on your pet's trip via a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest pick-up location. For those picking up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting.
