Angie is a 4-year-old, 56 lb pittie mix who's mastered the art of professional snuggling. She's a professional snuggler, world-class sunbather, and all-around excellent companion. Angie is the perfect dog for someone who loves pitties but prefers a more relaxed, couch-cuddle kind of dog. She's got a short, stocky build, a cute blocky head, and a shiny black coat that will make you want to smooch her cheeks daily. Her foster lovingly calls her a "house hippo," and it's the perfect description for this chunky, comfort-built sweetheart. Angie is incredibly easy to live with; she quietly hangs out while her foster works from home, naps nearby, and enjoys sunbathing. She's also an A+ snuggler and loves to sleep curled up next to her person.
Ideal Home
Angie would thrive in a home with kids around 6 years and older who can appreciate her calm, gentle personality. She'd also do well with another mellow, respectful dog, but she'd be equally happy as the one and only pet. Angie needs a kitty-free home as she finds cats too interesting.
Ongoing Health
Angie has no known ongoing health conditions. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and a 12-month heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and a wonderful houseguest, capable of staying in her kennel for up to eight hours. The only minor habit to manage is her occasional interest in shoes and magazines, which can be resolved by keeping tempting items put away and kenneling her when unsupervised.

Angie is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
