Solstice

Solstice is a sweetheart who is a little unsure of herself, likely due to a rough start in life. She recently arrived with 8 puppies and has already faced challenges, including heartworm, from which she is now recovering. With her puppies finding their forever homes, it's now Solstice's turn! She's quiet but incredibly loving, a bit shy with new people, but very eager to make friends with humans and most dogs. She gets nervous around cats, so a home without them would be ideal. A gentle approach and patience will help Solstice blossom into the amazing dog we know she can be. She would do best in a calm home with a predictable routine, but once comfortable, she enjoys playtime and even car rides!

Ideal Home

A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for Solstice. A home without feline companionship is preferred, as cats make her terribly nervous.

Ongoing Health

Solstice is heartworm positive and is currently on the road to recovery.

Training & Support

Solstice is shy with new people and will benefit from a patient and gentle approach. A steady schedule will help her feel secure.
