Ophelia (adoption fee 100)

Ophelia is a truly special girl who has already shown incredible resilience and devotion. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas just days before giving birth to a litter of puppies. Despite her own challenging circumstances, Ophelia was a remarkably attentive and loving mother, ensuring her babies thrived. Now that her puppies have all found their forever homes, it's Ophelia's turn to experience the joys of being a cherished family member. She is a beautiful, large girl, weighing 72lbs, and is healthy, spayed, and eager to start her new life.

Ideal Home

Ophelia has a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. She gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of livestock. While she hasn't been formally tested with cats, her gentle and laid-back nature suggests she would likely do well, and we are happy to arrange a cat test for interested adopters.

Ongoing Health

Ophelia is spayed and healthy. Her body is still recovering from raising her puppies but she is well on her way to being fully back to herself.

Training & Support

Ophelia is a smart girl who is already using a dog door, indicating she is well on her way to being potty trained. She should adapt quickly to a new routine.

Transportation

Ophelia is currently located in Texas. Our next transport is scheduled for July 17/18th, and transport is included in the adoption fee, which is paid at pickup. Pickup locations include:

Missouri:

• Herculaneum (south of St Louis) - Friday evening

Illinois:

• Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - Friday evening
• Springfield - Friday evening
• Bloomington / Normal - Friday evening
• Oglesby - Saturday morning
• Roscoe - Saturday morning

Wisconsin:

• Sun Prairie - Saturday late morning

• Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon

• Davenport area adopters will meet in Oglesby or Roscoe.

• Milwaukee adopters will meet in Sun Prairie or Fond du Lac.

• Green Bay area adopters will meet in Fond du Lac.
