Whitney Joy is one of those companions that feels impossible not to love the second you meet her. Between her giant happy smile, soft soulful eyes, and ridiculously velvety fur, she has a personality that instantly pulls people in. And the little ridge of fur running down the middle of her back is honestly one of the coolest, cutest things ever and somehow makes her even more unique! Whitney Joy has that happy, friendly Lab-like personality people adore, but there's also something gentle and sweet about her that makes her stand out. She's playful, affectionate, goofy, and full of that easy, feel-good energy that makes everyday life more fun just by having her around. Whitney is believed to be a Lab mix, approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 52 lbs. She is a rescue dog, and it's always a mystery with rescues, so we cannot guarantee her breed or age. Regardless of her DNA, she's the perfect mix of everything right! Whitney loves every person she meets; she knows no strangers! Connections with her are instantaneous. She is such a go-with-the-flow girl, happy regardless of where she is or who she is with. It's almost impossible not to immediately fall for her friendly and goofy personality.
Ideal Home
Whitney would do best in a home with another dog that enjoys companionship, playful adventures, and fun little games of chase. If you don't have another dog, that's completely okay too; Whitney doesn't rely on another dog to feel comfortable or confident and would be just as happy soaking up all the love and attention as your one-and-only girl. Her ideal home would have a backyard where she can zoom around, play with her toys, and sunbathe. Whitney gives the impression that she is a social butterfly, so if you like to host or have friends over for backyard BBQs, Whitney will be right there in the midst of all the entertainment.
Ongoing Health

Training & Support
Whitney loves treats and will do anything for a tasty snack! She already knows how to sit and stay and will do so almost instantaneously when you ask. She walks generally well on a leash and is crate and potty trained. Whitney will pull every now and then on a leash out of excitement, but with structured leash walks and consistency, she will be walking like a princess more consistently.
