Luther

Luther is a shy but sweet shepherd mix who was rescued this summer after being found injured and terrified. He's come a long way since then, learning to trust people and enjoy life at the rescue. Luther is a gentle giant who loves plush toys and giving hugs once he feels comfortable. He's housebroken and crate trained, and has a friendly disposition towards cats, dogs, and horses.

Ideal Home

Luther would do best in a home that understands his shy nature and can offer him a calm and patient environment.

Ongoing Health

Luther's front right leg had an old break, likely from being struck by a car. While it only bothers him occasionally now, it will not require further medical intervention. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on all his medical care.

Training & Support

Luther was initially terrified of leashes, but has made great progress. He is now housebroken and crate trained.
