Meet Cassie, a sweet and affectionate four-and-a-half-year-old Pittie/Staffy mix with adorable polka-dot ears and a heart of gold. She’s a calm and steady companion who loves to lean into you for pets and will gently scoot closer for more affection. Cassie enjoys adventures, rides well in the car, and is a polite walker, more interested in exploring than pulling. She's also a great jogging partner! At home, she’s content with simple pleasures like exploring the yard, lounging in the sun, and the occasional zoomie. Cassie is a smart cookie, knowing sit, paw, and lay down, and she’s eager to please. She has a special fondness for children, showering them with gentle affection.
Ideal Home
Cassie would be happiest in a home with a yard, though apartment living could work for the right family. She prefers a calm household and would do well as the only dog or with a mellow, easygoing male dog companion. She is not a good fit for a home with cats. She’s looking for a family that wants a loyal companion rather than a high-energy dog.
Ongoing Health
Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Cassie knows sit, paw, and lay down. She has been crate trained and potty trained, and is a proficient leash walker.

Transporation
Cassie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via USDA-certified transport. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
