About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who's as charming as she is adventurous! Weighing in at 55 lbs, Queenie has a heart of gold and a dash of sass, making her a truly unique companion. She may have lost sight in one eye, but that hasn't dimmed her vibrant spirit one bit. Queenie is a delightful mix of energy, affection, and a personality that's larger than life!

Queenie is a character who loves her walks, though she might decide to take a spontaneous break to flop down for a rest – because, you know, she's Queenie! While she's not particularly interested in chasing toys, she thoroughly enjoys wrestling with her canine pals and soaking up your affection. She can be a bit timid when first meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her warm, cuddly side to emerge, complete with adorable belly rubs. She also has a bit of a stubborn streak when it comes to leashes, but it’s all part of her lovable quirkiness!

Queenie may not be obsessed with toys, but she is all about love and snuggles. She absolutely adores a good romp in the yard and would be happiest in a home with plenty of space to explore. If you lead an active lifestyle, enjoy hiking, or running, Queenie would make the perfect partner in crime. Just a heads-up, she can be a bit of a digger and might test the boundaries of her containment if her curiosity gets the better of her. However, she's not a runner and is more likely to keep life interesting with her adventurous spirit!

In playgroups, Queenie is a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs. She has a playful yet gentle nature and enjoys some good-natured rough-and-tumble without ever crossing the line. Her energy level is a great match for an active family, but she’s also perfectly happy to relax and chill out after a fun-filled day.

Queenie is the perfect blend of playful, affectionate, and a little bit sassy, making her an incredible companion for anyone ready to embrace her unique personality. If you're searching for a loyal, spirited dog ready for life's adventures and endless snuggles, Queenie is eager to become your new best friend!

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a big space to explore and an active lifestyle that can keep up with her. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Queenie and the family.

Ongoing Health

Queenie has lost sight in one eye, but this does not affect her ability to live life to the fullest.

Training & Support

Queenie can be a bit timid when meeting new people but warms up quickly. She may have a stubborn streak when it's time to leash up and can be a digger or find her way out of containment if her curiosity gets the best of her.
