Kim is a handsome one-year-old Border Collie and Labrador mix, weighing approximately 32 lbs. He's a sweet, loving, and joyful boy who is always up for an adventure! Kim is very smart and eager to learn, making him a fantastic candidate for training. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. Kim is already leash-trained, crate-trained, and a good sport on car rides. He was found abandoned at our door and, after a vet visit, was diagnosed with parvo. Thankfully, he received prompt treatment and made a full recovery!
Ideal Home
Kim would thrive in an active home that enjoys outdoor activities. He'll need a home with a fenced backyard. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, who have high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, will be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Kim made a full recovery from parvo. His health protocol includes a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. He will also come with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Kim is not yet house-trained. He needs time to decompress and build trust with new people, as he can be a little timid initially. Patience and understanding are a must when integrating him into your home.
