Alabama - Crate/Leash/House Trained. Good w dogs & cats

Meet Alabama, a handsome 6-year-old Heeler Mix who is a true testament to the power of patience and love. He was rescued from a difficult situation in mid-2025 with a group of other dogs and, despite his past, has blossomed into a trusting and engaging companion. Alabama has completed his training and is now a pro at leash walking, crate use, and house training. He also knows his basic commands! He's done wonderfully with other dogs and has even been introduced to cats and house pigs without issue. While he's still a work in progress and not quite ready for couch snuggles just yet, his journey promises deep rewards for the right person.

Ideal Home

Alabama would do best in a home with teens and older, as he is still learning and growing. A securely fenced yard is highly recommended to give him space to explore safely.

Ongoing Health

Alabama is age-appropriately vetted, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving regular parasite prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is house, crate, and leash-trained and knows basic commands. He's still a work in progress, so ongoing patience and positive reinforcement will be key to his continued development.
