Toby

Toby is a 3-year-old, approximately 50 lb silver lab mix with a heart of gold. He's incredibly sweet and gentle with people, always eager to please. Toby is a smart boy who already knows basic commands and walks beautifully on a leash. He's also house-trained and crate-trained, making him a wonderful companion ready to settle into his forever home.

Ideal Home

Toby would do best in a home without other dogs. If a home does have other dogs, the owner must be very experienced in introducing dogs slowly, as Toby can show fear aggression towards new canine friends. With time and patience, he often calms down and accepts them.

Ongoing Health

Toby is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.

Training & Support

While Toby knows basic commands and listens well, he needs a home that understands how to manage his fear-based reactions to new dogs. Slow introductions are key to his success in a multi-dog household, though a dog-free home is preferred.

Transporation

Toby is currently in South Mississippi and we can transport him to the city where this listing is posted. We personally transport our adopted animals every 2-3 weeks and travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY.
