Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is a sweet and affectionate 3-4 year old female, likely a Lab/Pit mix. She recently became a mom, having delivered six healthy puppies while in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, she and her litter were rescued and brought into a loving foster home shortly after. Harley was a wonderful mother and allowed her foster parents to handle her puppies without any issues. Her puppies have all found their forever homes. Harley is a high-energy girl who needs plenty of exercise and activity to help her focus and be the best dog she can be. She’s looking for a loving but firm pet parent who can provide her with good one-on-one time and training, and she has the potential to be a great companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Harley would love a home where she can run, hike, and be active. Due to her active prey drive, we do not recommend homes with cats, fowl, or other small animals. She has shown cautiousness around her foster's cats and chickens, and we are working on her tendency to jump on people.

Ongoing Health

Harley is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Harley tends to jump on people, and this is currently being addressed. She also plays a little rough and has an active prey drive. We recommend cautious introductions to other animals. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, she will thrive.

Transporation

Harley is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for adoption in Northern States. We have transports that leave Texas monthly.
