Grace is a resilient and loving approximately one-year-old dog, weighing around 60 pounds. She appears to be a Black Mouth Cur, Pit Bull mix with a hint of other breeds. Grace was rescued from a difficult situation in east Dallas alongside her siblings and possibly her mother, where they were found living in harsh conditions. Despite her past, Grace approaches life with a gentle smile, hopeful eyes, and a sweet heart. She is a bit shy with new experiences but blossoms into a confident and trusting companion once she feels safe. Grace is a professional sunbather who loves rolling in the grass and is convinced she's a 60-pound lap dog, happiest when she's close to her favorite person. She dreams of a forever home with a soft bed, a patient family, and a loving hand to hold.
Ideal Home
Grace would thrive in a home that can provide patience and understanding as she continues to grow more confident. She is wonderful with children and great with other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Grace has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Grace is potty trained. While she is gaining confidence, new experiences can still be a little scary for her. Patience and positive reinforcement will help her continue to blossom.
