Moka

Moka is a beautiful, adult female Labrador Retriever mix with a sweet soul and loving demeanor. Originally from Mexico, Moka has overcome a lot in her life, but you'd never know it from her gentle spirit. Incredibly affectionate, she's happiest when she's close to her people. Whether you're cooking in the kitchen, working in another room, or relaxing on the couch, Moka will quietly follow along just to be near you. Moka seems to be completely house trained and gently nudges your hand and looks toward the door to indicate she needs to go outside. Because Moka is still adjusting to life as a tripod, she'll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time she needs. Sometimes she needs to pause and take breaks while finding the perfect spot to do her business. Moka adores people and loves companionship. She needs to be the only dog in the home so she can get all the attention she deserves. More than anything, Moka is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, supported, and part of the family. Moka is fine at home alone for reasonable periods of time as long as she can chill on the couch and watch TV.

Ideal Home

Moka needs to be in a one-story home, as slippery stairs - especially going down - can be challenging for tripod dogs. She needs to be the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Moka is a tripod and is still adjusting to life with three legs. She may need to pause and take breaks.

Training & Support

Moka appears to be house trained. She will gently nudge your hand and look toward the door to indicate she needs to go outside.
