Ned

Hi, I'm Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a beautiful coat that looks black but shines with rich brown in the sun. My cute white toes and distinguished white chin hairs give me a unique, distinguished look. I came all the way from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as part of "The Three Amigos!" I'm a champion snuggler and love to be close to my people, even sleeping right by my foster mom's side at night. Training classes sound like a blast, and I'm eager to learn more commands like "down," "stay," and "wait." I'm a pro at chasing anything that rolls and love a good game of tug-of-war with unstuffed toys. My foster mom calls me "Jaws" because I playfully show off my teeth and gums during wrestling matches, and "Snuffles" because I enjoy using a snuffle mat for my meals. I'm not a big fan of the cold but I do look quite dapper in cute coats! I'm a friendly guy who gets along well with kids and other dogs. I'm a little bit of a jumper and barker when excited, but I'm learning to manage that. I'm hoping to find a family that will give me lots of love, playtime, cuddles, and teach me to be the best "Nifty Ned" I can be!

Ideal Home

I need a home where I can sleep in bed with my people and cuddle on the sofa. I also really need to live with another dog, as I look to my canine companions for support, comfort, and warmth.

Training & Support

I'm working on not jumping up and barking too much when I get excited. I also tend to explore the tops of surfaces, but I'm learning that's a no-no! I can be a fast drinker, so my water is rationed.
