Bella is a 2-year-old sweetheart whose whole world changed overnight. After spending her entire life in one home, she was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. It's no surprise that she's feeling overwhelmed by all the unfamiliar sights, sounds, and routines. While Bella can be shy when meeting new people, patience goes a long way with this beautiful girl. Once she realizes she's safe, her soft, affectionate personality shines. She absolutely melts for belly rubs and loves nothing more than quietly staying close to the people she trusts. Whether she's sitting beside you watching the world go by or soaking up gentle pets, Bella is happiest simply being near her favorite person. Bella has enjoyed meeting other dogs at the shelter and may do well with a canine companion after a proper introduction. Black dogs are too often overlooked, but Bella deserves to be seen for the loving companion she truly is. She's searching for someone willing to give her a little time, a little patience, and the forever home she's been missing.
