Papi Chulo De La Calle is a handsome gentleman who brings a quiet confidence and good looks to any room. He's an easy companion to enjoy, estimated to be around 3 years old and likely an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, though his exact breed and age are our best guess as he is a rescue. Papi is a well-mannered, medium-energy dog with excellent social skills, great house manners, and an easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion.
Ideal Home
Papi would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time. He can happily join a home with other respectful dogs or be the one and only canine companion. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Papi is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Papi is crate trained, trustworthy in the home, rides beautifully in the car, loads in and out with ease, and walks nicely on leash with gentle guidance. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, preferring to gather information with a few sniffs before deciding you're a friend. Once he settles in, he is sweet, easygoing, and handles new situations without becoming overwhelmed.

Transporation
Papi is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
