About Coachella Confetti Stargirl
Coachella feels like someone accidentally shrunk a full-sized party girl into a compact little 32 lb package. Perfectly petite itty-bitty pittie vibes? Absolutely. Certified breed? Not even a little. Rescue rules apply, but whatever mix she is came out equal parts happy, wiggly, social butterfly and good time girl with a very good heart. Estimated to be about a year old, Coachella is still very much in her "life is exciting and I would like to participate in all of it immediately" era. Go watch Coachella Confetti on YouTube, then come right back to read more about the dog who thinks every dog is her new best friend and every day deserves a celebration. Coachella is one of those dogs who arrives already acting like shes known you forever. She absolutely adores people and has never met a stranger. One person who met her immediately squealed "Sweeeetumsss!!!" which honestly tracks perfectly. She greets people with full-body wiggles, eager affection, puppy kisses, and the kind of happy energy that makes you laugh while shes bouncing around trying to catch all the love. Meeting new dogs, Coachella has shown she is friendly and submissive with every single dog she met. She loves to play and absolutely thrives in a social dog environment. Her play style is very puppyish: welcoming, zippy, and fun-loving. Shes the dog equivalent of a friend checking to see if you are up at 6am on Saturday morning because shes ready for adventure and doesn't want to waste a beautiful day. She is a toy lover and we can see a fetch-girl in there for sure! She shares toys well, welcomes shared affection and fits beautifully into a wide variety of playgroups. That said, she would love a home with canine friends who are social, confident, and capable of setting boundaries appropriately because Coachella herself has approximately zero interest in stopping a good time. She takes correction well and recovers instantly. Once redirected, she settles quickly and happily moves on with life. She is not sensitive or dramatic about guidance, which is a huge plus for a young dog still learning about a whole new, big-wide world. What stands out most about Coachella is that underneath all the bouncing, sweet smooches, and joyfulness is a genuinely lovely little dog. She wants connection, she wants fun, she wants to be included in life. With exercise, structure, and continued guidance, she has all the ingredients to become an incredibly fun and devoted companion. If you describe your dream dog as a tiny festival with paws, Coachella is ready and waiting to bring her sparkle home!
Ideal Home
Coachella would like to pass on apartment life. She needs/wants room to run, play, zoom, and feel the wind in her fur. A home with a yard would suit her best, and an active household will keep her glitter sparkling. Kids are welcome! She met a 5 and 7 year old and was perfectly playful and matched their energy. We have seen her get bouncy so little (under 5) could easily be overwhelmed by her but most 5+ kids will enjoy her playfulness. Nothing mean about her whatsoever, just enthusiastic in every possible sense. Walks alone are great but if you are looking for a running buddy or an athlete in general, this is your girl! She wants love, affection, a few good toys, activity, and ideally a dog friend who enjoys playtime as much as she does. She will need a cat-free home. Her enthusiasm for a feline friend is a bit much and not welcome by cats.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions mentioned.
Training & Support
She has the basics of leash walking down but occasionally gets that cute burst of puppy-like excitement from just how amazing the whole world is, which looks like a few happy hops so she will benefit from continued leash work and structure.
