Meet Buckley! This handsome 4-year-old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix is a true sweetheart who loves his people and his couch time. Found as a stray with a serious leg and hip injury, Buckley was rescued and has since healed into a happy, playful companion. He's house-trained and trustworthy when left alone, though he doesn't do well in crates. Buckley enjoys leisurely walks and indoor play, making him a versatile furry friend. He's a fast learner, knows basic commands, and has a hilarious way of "asking" for playtime that's sure to melt your heart.

Ideal Home

Buckley thrives in a home where he gets plenty of human companionship. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially more submissive ones, and would likely enjoy a large fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Buckley walks with a slight "limp" due to a past leg and hip injury that healed incorrectly, resulting in one back leg being shorter than the other. This may cause him to be a bit sore after extensive exercise. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventatives.

Training & Support

Buckley knows basic commands and is eager to please. He's well-behaved when left unsupervised and doesn't need much beyond continued love and companionship.
