Bear is a handsome, 60lb gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart, estimated to be a little over one year old. He's a confident and enthusiastic companion who approaches the world with curiosity and a love for people. Bear is eager to learn and is highly treat-motivated, making him a joy to train. He thrives on human interaction and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing, whether it's lounging nearby or soaking up attention. He's already house and crate trained, a testament to his eagerness to please.
Ideal Home
Bear would do best in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. He'll need a family who understands he's still in his playful puppy phase and can offer clear, consistent guidance. He would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his size or playfulness. A dog-savvy, confident cat and slow introductions would be essential if there are felines in the home.
Ongoing Health
Bear is up-to-date on all vetting.
Training & Support
Bear is still learning leash manners and how to manage his excitement around other dogs. He responds well to corrections and can settle with consistent handling. While he can be a bit enthusiastic during play with other dogs, he is respectful once he gets to know them. Continued positive reinforcement and appropriate introductions will help him become a wonderful playmate.
