This cutie is Thunder! He is currently 10 months old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. We think he may be a Pit Bull or Lab Retriever mix, but with rescue, it is always a guess. What matters most is that he is absolutely adorable and one of the most at-risk puppies in the entire US based on statistics from where he is from. Shelters in this area are being forced to euthanize puppies, which means this baby truly needs you. Choosing a puppy from us saves their life and the life of another dog in their place.
Thunder is playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. He is a true social butterfly who loves everyone he meets and thrives on companionship. He is excellent at fetch and would happily play until it is time to curl up for snuggles. Thunder lives with three cats and does wonderfully with them. He knows sit and wait, is crate trained, and potty trained, and has been a joy to have in his foster home. He would love a home with outdoor space where he can play, explore, and soak up the sun during his favorite sunbathing sessions.

Ongoing Health
Thunder is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Thunder knows sit and wait, is crate trained, and potty trained. He will need a family committed to continued training, socialization, and the time and patience puppyhood requires. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences are key to raising a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We do require adopters to continue crate training upon arrival home, as it supports potty training, energy management, and long-term success.
