True to her breed mix, Batsy is friendly, intelligent, and highly active. She loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has never shown any food aggression. She enjoys playing with canine friends and is respectful and submissive around larger dogs. Batsy is happiest when she's included in the action, whether she's exploring the outdoors or relaxing with her family after a day of fun.
Ideal Home
Because of her natural hunting instincts and high prey drive, Batsy is not recommended for homes with cats or chickens. She would thrive with a family that understands working and hunting breeds and can provide the structure, exercise, and mental stimulation she needs to be successful.
Ongoing Health
When Batsy first came into rescue, she had a significant injury to her paw that required surgery to remove several toes. It is unknown whether the condition was caused by trauma or a birth defect. The good news is that she has recovered beautifully and today you would never know she had surgery. She is pain-free, active, and walks, runs, and plays like nothing ever happened.
