Meet Jackson – a distinguished gentleman of about 9 years and 50 lbs, who's navigating a change in his life and looking for his next cozy spot. After seven happy years with his previous family, Jackson found that the energetic pace of toddler life wasn't quite his cup of tea. He's a sweet, well-mannered boy who, despite the changes, remains a true gem. Jackson is house-trained and crate-trained, and he actually enjoys his crate! He also knows a variety of commands and tricks, making him a smart and engaging companion. For those who appreciate a more relaxed lifestyle, Jackson is your guy! He's not a big fan of walks, but he excels at being a couch potato, enjoying backyard zoomies, and mastering the art of sunbathing naps.
Ideal Home
Jackson would thrive in a home with adults or teenagers. A fenced yard is a must for his backyard adventures, and a calm environment would be ideal. He can share his home with another dog or a cat that understands canine cues, provided introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully to ensure a harmonious coexistence.
Ongoing Health
Jackson has been neutered and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Jackson is already house-trained and crate-trained, and he knows several commands and tricks. His main "training need" is simply to find a quiet, stable environment where he can continue to be the relaxed companion he is.
