Rubin

Meet Rubin, a tiny 7.7-pound Chihuahua with the most adorable butt wiggle that's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face! When he sees you, his whole back end starts to wiggle with excitement, making it impossible not to feel happy. Rubin came to us from a breeder situation, and he can be a little reserved at first as he gets to know you. He likes to ensure you're trustworthy before he fully opens up his heart. But once he feels comfortable and settled, he absolutely adores couch time and cuddling up with his favorite people.

Ideal Home

Rubin is doing wonderfully with learning important pet dog skills, including mastering stairs, which he's quite proud of! He's also progressing well with leash walking and potty training, especially when kept on a consistent schedule. He does great with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. However, because he can be shy, he may need a little patience around children.

Ongoing Health

Rubin recently had a very thorough health check. He was neutered and received a full dental cleaning, so his teeth are sparkling clean and he's feeling great!

Training & Support

Rubin is working on his leash walking and potty training skills. Consistency is key for him to succeed in his potty training, so a predictable schedule will be very helpful. He may need a little extra patience and gentle introductions around children due to his shy nature.
