Meet Rosella, affectionately known as "Rose"! This approximately 45 lb Carolina Dog mix, with an estimated birthday of December 29, 2019, is a truly sweet gal with the cutest personality. She knows "sit" and "shake" and is very eager to show off her skills! Rose wants nothing more than to please her people, and she has no trouble doing it. She brings a smile to the face of everyone she meets with her happy-go-lucky demeanor.
Rose is a true survivor. Before coming to the rescue, she was abandoned. She was dumped from a car with a collar embedded so far into her neck that it reeked of rotting flesh. Her wounds were extensive and her recovery is nothing short of a miracle. Today, she is fully healed, and we think she is the most beautiful girl ever. She wears her scars like a true hero, and we all look up to her for everything she has been through, and how she continues to radiate happiness and hope. Now, all she needs is a forever best friend!
Ideal Home
Rose has not yet met any other dogs or cats at the rescue, so a home where she can be slowly introduced to new friends would be ideal.

Rose has fully healed from her past injuries and shows no ongoing health concerns.
Training & Support
Rose is kennel and potty trained and is eager to please. She would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build her confidence and continue her learning. Our adopters are eligible to receive discounts on training programs.

Transporation
Rose is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take her to a pickup location in your state or a neighboring state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport.
