A little about them

Toffee is a loving, grateful 7-year-old Lab–Staffordshire mix weighing about 40 pounds. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Guadalajara, Mexico, he is a gentle, quiet boy with medium-low energy who enjoys resting, treats, toys, and outdoor play.

Ideal Home

Toffee gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. His behavior around children and cats is unknown, and his prey drive has not been assessed. Adopters should be prepared to provide patient guidance if new behaviors arise.

Ongoing Health

Toffee is neutered and vaccinated, and he will travel with proof of his vaccine and test records. A retained testicle was removed during neutering, and he receives monthly heartworm prevention. Any dental work or veterinary visits after adoption are the adopter’s responsibility.

Training & Support

Toffee knows some basic commands in Spanish and is eager to learn. His leash skills and housetraining are works in progress; frequent potty breaks, patience, and positive reinforcement will help him adjust.
